Hi, my name is Ashish. And in this video we will see how to create an Azure API Management instance in Azure Portal. So let me just quickly log on to the portal and take it from there. I'm inside the portal. And what I'll do is I'll create a new resource from here. I'll click on the Create a new resource.
And in the Create a resource section. I'm going to select on the API Management, I'll type API Management. Here it comes with a drop down, I'll click on it. It takes me to the next screen I'll click on create it will take me to the options here and I will enter the name. I'm going to test author and we'll select the subscription test. Sir API MGMT is my resource group.
I'm going to select East us organizing organization name would be more select tests. faster or cheaper. This is why administrator email the account to which I am logged in. And after that, I'm going to click on Create. And pricing tier would be developer. I'm going to click on Create.
I'm going to wait till the time it is completed, it takes a lot of time. I was doing it earlier as well. It took more than 10 minutes. Actually 15 minutes, but let's see how quickly it has done now. I've got my notification on the top right corner where it says deployment is in progress. I'm going to pause the video and come back as soon as it is done.
Thank you. Okay, it took 30 minutes for me to create for Azure to create this resource. So keep in mind this thing that it may take 30 or more than 30 minutes as well, depends, it can take less as well. After this resource is created, you click on that and you will be under the test test, server API Management Service. Whatever the name of your resource is, will fill it usually will take 20 to 30 minutes to create an API to create an API Management Service. Now we'll have here on that resource you see the resource group is this you can change it.
It has the publisher portal, developer portal developer portal, new one legacy, you can delete this as well. This is the API Management Services. This is how you create the API Management Services in the resource portal. If you will see the options you have the Quickstart API's product named values, your analytics user subscription groups, notifications all the options that you have would go from there. And after that, we'll we'll create the do the videos in the coming section on how to do the other basic stuff when it comes to the API Management Services. we'll import the API we will create and publish a product.
We will mock the API responses. We'll see how to protect the API's, monitor the published API's, debug the API's, and revisions, add multiple versions and customize the developer portal. So I hope you liked this video. I'll see you guys in the next video till then have a good day. Buh bye.
