Hi, everybody, and welcome back to the course. So in this lesson, we're going to be going over the three different types of line symbols. So on the picture of the right, you actually get to see all of the different line symbols, the three different types, there is solid dashes, and dashed and dotted. So we're going to go ahead and look at the first symbol. So the first symbol that we have is the solid line. And the solid line represents a valley or mountain fold, where it has been folded up.
So if you ever see one of those on an origami diagram, it means that a fold has been made there. The next type of symbol we're going to be going over is a dashed line. So the dashed line represents where a valley fold needs to be made. So if you want to know what a valley fold is, you can go check out my class understanding origami symbols And we go over all the different types of folds. But this dashed line just means that you need to create a valley fold along that line. And the last symbol is the dash and a dotted line.
Now, the dash a dotted line represents where a mountain fold needs to be made. Once again, if you don't know what a mountain fold is, you can go to my class understanding origami folds. And we're going to go over that. So the dotted line just means that you need to fold them out fold along that line. And those are the three different types of line symbols. So I hope you enjoyed, and I'll see you in my next lesson where we're going to be going over the airlines.
Okay, bye
