Hi, hello, welcome to How to heal your body using natural foods. So if you are somebody where maybe you have some type of, you know, problem like a chronic illness or condition so then the doctor recently diagnosed you with, and you're not really getting a lot of answers, right? Maybe you try, they told you that there's nothing there. Maybe you know, maybe you have tried so many different things and nothing's really working, or just feeling, you know, discouraged from the pain. And I want to talk with you through this course. And I want to give you some more natural remedies and natural solutions to help you overcome these problems that you may be experiencing in your body in your house.

It's really going to be life changing, very eye opening if you apply what I share with you today, right? So let's go ahead and get started. So like I said, welcome to How to heal your body. using natural foods course I am so excited to have you here. Inside this course, you're going to learn some very eye opening very practical information. And I'm going to teach you different things such as you know how to how to find and prevent cancer, how to reduce colds, the flu and inception, right using natural solutions, natural foods, right?

And we're going to cover not just food but also natural solutions as well. Right How to decrease or eliminate inflammation, right? So you will learn how to prevent cancer using natural remedies and solutions. All right, you guys To learn how to prevent cancers and natural remedies and solutions, you will know more natural and practical options to treat a cold or the flu, right.

So it's not necessarily what you have to always run to the grocery store and get the cold medicine, you know, down at, you know, the grocery store everything, I'm going to show you something else that you can try. That is that is also effective, if not more. And you're also going to learn how to stop or slow down inflammation and this could be inflammation that you're experiencing, because of chronic pain, swelling, right, some type of inflammatory problem in your body. And at the end, I'll also share with you how you can receive my seven day meal plan which in a way that does integrates all these natural solutions into your everyday life, right. So now you'll know what foods to eat, what to consume more of what to consume less. I'm going to also show you how to give you my meal plan what you To help you to integrate and apply these things.

So in case you're wondering who I am so my name is nurse Shama. I am a registered nurse. I graduated in May 2010. And I worked as a bedside nurse and everything. So I did that for over four years. I work mainly with a lot of chronically ill patients.

So patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, you know, kidney disease, liver disease. And, you know, from doing this, a lot of patients came back to the hospital, they were reoccurring patients, I felt as if that we were giving them you know, all these drugs, which were really just treating the symptoms and not getting to the root of the problem. Hence, reason why they have to come keep coming back. Right. So if you go to the doctor, right most, most times, most chances, they're going to refer to some type of medication for you to take Which has side effects, right? Which is going to keep you on that forever.

Right? So, you know, so I was really exposed to a lot of healthcare, right? Also chronic patients, but then also patients who are in surgery, right pre op post op patients. And these are patients are surgery for different reasons, right? Maybe they were getting their leg amputated, because they had diabetes, right and the diabetes was not controlled. Maybe they were having surgery because they have some type of inflammatory bowel disease, right, which which sign though all this all these problems can be alleviated and prevented using natural solutions.

And even if you already have them, you can see a very huge dramatic difference in your health if you start implementing them today. So I've seen this I also on the other side, too. I've also worked as an insurance nurse. So what that does is That gave me a lot of exposure towards you know, especially people who you apply for you're trying to get something medically approved and you're denied. Right, you're trying to file your claims. It gave me a lot of insight as far as you know, the what's happened with patients and healthcare in the insurance industry.

And so I kind of want to also encourage you, because what I'm going to teach you will hopefully help you to bypass all the problems that are associated with with neediness insurance, because a lot of times people resolve people in your insurance because they have they have, yes, they want to maintain their health at the same time. Many people have pre existing conditions or problems and insurance isn't always covered, right? A lot of times it's not covered, leaving you with these medical bills. And it's because you're trying to treat your problem with more medical solutions. Why not try something different? That will save you a lot of time.

Money and stress. So that's why am I not sure I also do help nursing graduates as well to pass the NCLEX exam, which is a state board test that nurses have to pass in order to be licensed to work as either a registered nurse or a LPN, or a licensed practical nurse in the state or Canada. All right, and that's called choosing nursing. And that's pretty much in a nutshell as far as who I am and what I do. All right, so now we're going to move into and we're going to talk about cancer prevention. And we're going to talk specifically about what type of foods you can consume that will help to prevent cancer.

And if you even if you already have cancer, then I just want to encourage you that if you apply some things, some of these things, it may still help you Even the city you're in right now. Right? I don't never want to. So this is a disclaimer, right? I never want to say, oh, if you do this, you'll definitely have these results, right? Because everybody is different.

Everybody varies, right? So I'm going to put a disclaimer out there right now that I don't, I cannot say doing these things. Absolutely, we'll help you. But I know it's helped myself. And it's helped many other people that I've seen make these changes. So let's first talk about cancer period.

So I want to share with you some numbers that are very alarming. All right, very, very alarming. These are numbers that I took from the American Cancer Society. And they estimated that in 2019, this year right at the time of this video, in 2019, there's an estimate of 1,762,450 new cancer cases diagnosed and 606,880 cancer deaths in the States. That's shocking to me. And and what's crazy about that, too is that this, you know, like I said at the time of watching shooting this video, we're not even done with 2019.

And we're getting this many cancer cases. And here's the thing too is that spaces This is specific to the United States. So other countries are not getting these cancer diagnosis is right, other countries are not right is prone here. And so you have to look at any other evaluate. Why is that? And that's because there are certain foods that we consume more of or less of here.

Then other third world countries. So you know, because if we look at here and I say it's right, one of the value and think about what is one of the number one things you put in your body every single day? Food, right? Right. It's not just the sun exposure. It's not just when you take medicine or whatever.

But the number one thing that you put into your body every single day is what you eat. So you have to see your diet as medicine to your body. It's either going to help you or it's going to hurt you. And a lot of sicknesses and diseases are a result of a lack of right of essential vitamins and minerals that you need to be consuming every single day. This is the problem, right? Other countries don't have this problem because it's not really necessarily that the environment or the weather.

It's really because they don't eat the way that we eat. So cancer is actually the second most common cause of death in the United States. Right, the second most common cause of death. So and then heart diseases right before that. So and and here's the thing to, unfortunately, is that a lot of times if you have one problem, it makes you more prone to another problem. Right?

So that's why it's important to really care about, you know, if you have one diagnosis, manage that now he doesn't develop to other things. So based on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, they estimate that the direct medical costs by all the x healthcare healthcare expenses, expenditures for cancer United States in 2013 was at $80.2 billion. Wow. For the money so cancer is very expensive by not just you, but also for the healthcare industry. It's a very expensive disease. So here's a way this is what I try to really push to people and tell people make your house a priority now, right?

Invest in your house now. So that way you won't be forced to later. Right? Make it a Priority be willing to invest in your health, I'd be willing to pay a little bit more appeal a bit extra for your health now. So that way you don't find yourself really paying for it later. Because when you think about cancer, you're gonna pay you're paying a lot, right?

You're all that all the doctor visits by going through the checkups, the tests, the scans, the blood tests, the met all The medications, right? The chemo, the radiation, and the outpatient visits, that stuff really adds up. And a lot of people run out of money because they're trying to cover their medical bills. And I don't want that to be you, right? So that's why we got to make it a priority to change to make some significant changes. So let's talk about what are the foods?

What are three specific foods that will help to prevent cancer? Here's the first one. Oatmeal. Did you know that oatmeal is loaded with very important very essential vitamins and minerals? an antioxidant plant compounds. Okay, so oatmeal, it's very rich in antioxidants.

Right, it will help it so here's the thing. Anytime you hear any type of food that says is ration antioxidants. That's it Very good thing, here's why. When you're exposed to like a lot of radiation and sunlight and all that kind of stuff, what that does is that it produces free radicals in your body. And free radicals over time will build up and turn into cancer. So the old meals what they're doing is that they're helping to destroy those free radicals.

So I highly recommend that you take oatmeal every single day, right in the morning with your meals with your breakfast, once per day is fine, right so all the help to lower the risk of heart disease by reducing both your total and your LDL cholesterol and protect protecting LDL cholesterol from oxidation. All right, so take oatmeal everyday I myself I take oatmeal once a day in the mornings, right with my breakfast is really really essential when it comes to your diet when it comes to cancer prevention. All right, here's the second food. cherries. All right, so cherries are a potent source of antioxidants and anti inflammatory compounds. These cellular by body cellular body guards slow down aging, and they ward off chronic illnesses, which includes heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's, diabetes and obesity.

So, based on the American Institute for cancer research, the dietary fiber that's in cherries, it helps to lower the risk of colon cancer. Isn't it interesting? So if it's probably in your family to develop colon cancer, then you want to, you know, make cherries a priority. And one thing I mentioned too, is that African and African and American males tend to have a higher risk for developing colon cancer. All right, so cherries is really, really essential. So here's another thing to the consumption of dietary fat fiber.

It helps people with weight gain or weight control. So here's the thing. excessive weight gain, also is a cancerous factor. And that can increase the risk of over seven different types of cancers. So being overweight, being having a little bit too much weight, that also makes you a risk for developing cancer as well. So you really want to make it a priority.

By we want to make it a priority that you include cherries in your diet and make it a priority that you'll begin to exercise and lose the weight right? That's really important because that puts you at risk for developing cancer. And there's you know, different types of cancers as well. Alright, let's talk about the third food. green leafy vegetables. All right, green leafy vegetables.

So green leafy vegetables. They also help to reduce reduce heart disease risk and cancer as well. Now it matters what type of green leafy vegetables that you consume. Okay, so dark green leafy vegetables like spinach and kale is the best. Don't stay away from lettuce like lettuce is good free lettuce is good too. But there's no nutrition in lettuce.

There's no nutrients, there's no vitamins, it's just honestly just water. So don't think Oh a lettuce today that's like really vegetables it's not. Lettuce does not really have any nutrients in it. So you want us to go towards spinach kale. Kale is rich in minerals. antioxidants.

So there's an important word again, environments, especially vitamin A, C, and k. Now to reap the most benefits, it's best eating raw. Right? So don't you know, if you lose it, it loses its nutritional value. If you take it, if you heat it on the stove or something, you boil it, it loses its nutritional value that way, so it's better to eat it raw. Now, kale, like I said, Here, kale or green leafy vegetables, like spinach, they do contain high amounts of vitamin K. So if you're taking a blood thinner medication, such as warfarin or Coumadin, then please be advised that kale will actually decrease the potency of that medication, because vitamin K is the antidote for Coumadin. All right.

So those are the three and actually only applies if you're taking Coumadin or warfarin, which is the same thing. All right, those are the three great three foods I recommend to prevent cancer. Alright, so hopefully you're already thinking, Okay, I need to go to the grocery store, right? I need to do some changes in my in my in our groceries. All right, let me get oatmeal in bulk, right. So it's really, really important that you integrate this into your diet or into your lifestyle.

Okay, let's talk about finding colds. All right, so we're going to talk about what are some natural solutions to fighting like the cold or like a flu, whether it's yourself or your children. And here's what I want to say to you can still take the diamond tab the Roma tests and etc. But, you know, do you want to also give this a shot as well, right and this is more effective in the early days. Do this it's more effective. So meaning that don't wait until it's like really, really bad.

Wait, like when you start when you start to feel that that sore throat, right, you start to feel hot, that's the best time to take these things. So the first thing is, let's talk about how to prevent getting sick in the first place. So, you know, it's not really about, like the person who said, you know, you got to change your diet, right? And, you know, we see a lot people that who are on so many different diets. And the reason why it doesn't work work for a lot of people, is because it's a drastic change in your diet. So the thing I recommend is that when it comes to changing your diet, you want to identify how you can how you can, you know, modify your diet, not necessarily replace it all together, right?

That will help you to have more long term you know, help you to be more long term and changing your diet. So here's the things I recommend. Number one, consume foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals. Right? On every day, every day, not just seven days a week, right? But every single day you want to make that a priority.

Stop drinking soda and start drinking water. All right, stop drinking soda and start drinking water because soda is a carbonated drink. Right soda, it contains all this combination these carbs in it. The overtime is not good for your body besides like sugar, and that puts you more at risk for diabetes. Why so stop drinking soda and start drinking water. consider switching to a plant based or pescetarian diet which is fish only.

So I know this part is very hard for a lot of people. I understand. It was For me too, but there is very, very significant benefits to switching to a plant based diet, very significant benefits. Like I've seen people who had diabetes, and if they stopped eating meat, and literally a reverse diabetes, that's how significant it is now and you're thinking, there's no way I can do that, right? Maybe you can like devote, you know, one day a week where you don't eat meat, right? It's really, really matter.

Like I said, make it a priority to invest in your health now, so you're not forced to later. Okay, so it's really I would really highly, like I said, as always, I just want to put the word consider because I know it's hard for people and then learn how to read nutrition labels. Okay, learning Learn how to read nutrition labels. In matters significantly, if you know how to read, you know, what is sodium? What is trans fat, right? What are all the essential vitamins list there, it matters a lot, because then now you'll be able to make a lot better choices by a lot better choices.

Alright, so learn how to read nutrition labels as well. Now, when you do get cold, or when you do get a cold, you do get the flu and you start to experience the science. Here's what I recommend that you do, versus taking cold medicine. You want to get yourself a cup of like get a cup of hot water. Right and get some hot tea. And you're gonna mix that hot tea with honey, lemon and cinnamon.

All right, honey, lemon and cinnamon though Three things that you like. And if you can do all of them, just at least to a minimum, the honey. Alright, so so here's the reason why these food these elements are these herbs or how we want to turn them. They are they are one of the super healing foods actually, meaning that they have very high healing properties inside them. Especially the honey, especially the cinnamon, especially the lemon. That's why I say put them all together.

There's actually if you look, if you for those of you that know that verse of the Bible, actually in the Bible, it talks about the Good Samaritan story. And it says how, you know a lot of people bypass the person that was bruised and everything. And then the Good Samaritan came and picked up, picked him up. And it says it says in the Bible that he actually put honey over his moons. Right. So So then after I did that, Remember, I researched Okay, why did he use honey is because honey is a very powerful and very potent healing or healing revenue.

You'll see a huge difference if you try this. Right It tastes a lot better than taking cold medicine or over tested. Right and I see myself personally, if I feel anything, I'll take some and it just does wonders. Alright, so that's the first thing I recommend. Also, here are some other natural mini foods as well. So there are some foods that will help that like there's like I said, there's other herbs and then that helps with healing.

So if let's say you are at risk for developing clots and stroke, right, so if you had a stroke before like your Tia, you've you you had a you have a client right now or maybe you have hired blood pressure, then that makes you at risk for stroke. If you have high blood pressure, if you have some type of arrhythmia problems, such as atrial fibrillation that makes you a risk for a stroke. Right? If you have diabetes, I'm a serious for a stroke. If you're not very active, that makes serious for a stroke, so, so you want to be taking things like you know, the house too thin your blood, so that way it doesn't develop into a clock, and that clock can become a stroke. Right?

So that's why they recommend they'll give you like Coumadin but here's some natural solutions instead. You have ginger. Grey ginger is actually a great herb that helps to prevent the health of you know, as a blood blood thinner thins your blood clots and strokes. Grapeseed extract tumeric and vitamin E. All right. Ginger Grapeseed Strack tumeric and vitamin E, these are all things that you can find over the counter, right? If you get them in small containers and stuff.

But yeah, so this is going to really help you if you are at risk for developing a clot or a stroke. And if you're taking Coumadin already, then absolutely take this to consult with your doctor of course, right and then then together you guys can monitor to see the effects of the natural remedies and see if that is enough for you to stop taking the Coumadin. Another thing is honey, so I talked about honey earlier. So honey is by far one of the best. All right, one of the best supplements with healing and benefits associated with it. When you mix spoonfuls of honey in tea, This one can really help prevent severe colds and sicknesses.

Even if you just take it in your regular diet without you know, being sick, that's great to actually write Let's be more preventative versus treating. So for example, what I do when I if I eat pancakes or waffles, I won't use syrup or use honey. Right? So like see, I mean this I mean like modification and say replacing right you're still gonna eat pink like I love pancakes. I love waffles. Right?

So no, I want you syrup. I will use honey because syrup. syrup is syrup. If you take syrup, it will make you feel really groggy and sluggish. But honey doesn't have that same effect. I've also used like a GAVI nectar, as well.

That's another type of similar to honey, but it's not the same thing. Here's why honey is so great. It contains Antioch Write the important word again, which helps the cancer prevention. It's also not to help reduce cough, prevent infection and prevent gastrointestinal ulcers. See how so honey has a lot of benefits to it? A lot of benefits to it.

And then another thing too, if you if it let's say you're you have an upset stomach or you feel nauseous, right? Or you start vomiting, anything that involves your stomach, drink aloe vera juice, versus taking medic nausea medications. All right. Aloe is a plant, right that is it has been known to help with digestive problems. It's very, very effective. Very effective.

All right. I've tried it myself and it It's like a miracle worker. Okay, so drink aloe vera juice. Very, very effective. Okay. All right.

So those are the foods I recommend or the solutions I recommend when it comes to fighting colds and flus. So now let's talk about inflammation elimination. So, if what is inflammation, right? inflammation is the result of a chronic condition or an acute injury. Right, a chronic condition or acute injury. So this can manifest in your body in the form of pain, swelling, arthritis, liver disease, heart disease, fibroids, and more.

All right, this is inflammation. This is what inflammation is. Right. So if you do with chronic pain, You deal with these credit problems, right? You want to identify, okay, what are some more natural solutions that I can do to help reduce these issues I'm having. So here's what I recommend to help eliminate or decrease these inflammatory problems that you're having, aside from taking and sets, which are non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs, like aspirin, right?

That helps with our pharmaceutical options. Here's the natural options, eat more of these natural foods are recommended. Right? So all the things I suggested earlier, they all help also with decreasing inflammation. Right, the cherries, the green leafy vegetables, the oatmeal, tumeric, right. Those ones specifically help.

Also with decreasing inflammation, not just cancer and you'll see the best results. You'll see the best results, if you take them regularly and consistently, write regularly and consistently not just one time only, right. So it's really, really important that you, you know, make this change make these changes in your diet. If you really want to decrease the chronic pain, you will want to decrease inflammation. Another thing too, as well is losing weight. So aside from weight loss, helping with cancer prevention, it also helps to reduce inflammation.

Right, also also reduce inflammation. So losing weight allows the fat cells to shrink back to a more normal size. Right, and that turns off the signals that trigger chronic inflammation. Isn't that interesting? So losing weight and allows the fat cells in our body to shrink back to a normal size. which turns off the signals that triggers chronic inflammation?

That nail hole sense to me. Right? So these are something like I said, Really make these things a priority. Like if you really, you know, I know at the beginning it can be challenging making the changes but once again, make that investment in your health now so that way you're not having to do it later. I it's so worth it. It's so worth it.
