All right Welcome back guys. Now let's set up shipping. All right so go to WooCommerce settings and yeah, go to shipping and here we need to add a shipping zone so let's do that add shipping zone. Zone name this can be anything but let me enter USA because we are selling in the USA. Okay zone regions North America United States. Now you can add different shipping rates for each and every state that you like.
But I will not do that because will take a lot of time. As you can see there are so many states in the US so us it we just select the entire country USA All right. And then add shipping method okay click on it will charge a flat rate charge shipping method get it is now edited. Okay, metadata Flat Rate tax data is taxable. How much do you want to charge? For the shipping?
Let's say I want to charge $10 so 10 and save changes. Okay. Now, the thing is we entered 10. But what if the customer orders 100 different items or maybe 50 different items or whatever, and we will be charging only for one item. And we don't want that. Okay, so to prevent that what we can do is edit, we can go here and put a space Asterix again, Espace square bracket, q t y, okay and then close the square bracket.
So what this means is we are charging $10 multiplied by the number of items that the customer is ordering. Okay, you can see the formula here. If you hover over this question mark, you will see the entire formula. All right now, save changes. Now, the thing is we are selling t shirts and accessories on our website and shipping for these two products will be different obviously, because an accessory is a really tiny item and a T shirt is a little bigger. So, how to do that to do that we need to create classes and to do that go here shipping classes.
Now, add shipping class name the shipping class t shirt All right. And then again add shipping class and accessories. Accessories okay now save shipping losses. Now go back to shipping zones and edit it edit zone. Alright flat rate ended. As you can see we have accessory shipping class cost and T shirt shipping class cost.
So, remove this cost from here. Come on. x and paste it here. We are charging $10 for the T shirt, right? So paste it here. And let's say we are charging $5 for the accessory.
So, put five here. All right, now save changes. So guys, that's how you add shipping methods. All right, and that will be all I'll see you in the next one. Bye
