These two full days of online meditation involve instructions in the first two tetrads of the 16 steps outlined in the Buddha’s mindfulness of breathing discourse(the Anapanasati sutta). These first two tetrads emphasize mindfulness, investigation, energy, joy, and tranquility. As well as mindfulness of breathing there is also some basic guidance in warm benevolence (loving-kindness) and compassion meditations. The recordings from this retreat are most suitable for experienced meditators. The schedule for this retreat is below. youtube links to recordings are listed in sequence of 1, 2and 3 referring to Friday night, Saturday-full day 1, and Sunday-full day 2, respectively. The recordings include orientation to the retreat and each successive day, guided meditation, and Dharma talks, which outline the theory of the practice, as well as some QA. Introductions to one another and some QA /discussions were not recorded due to respect for participants’ privacy.
Health Warning: These days are most suited for experienced meditators.
