So now you should have all of the emails out of your inbox and into folders. Congratulations, you've just hit zero email inbox seems like kind of a cheat though, doesn't it because emails not really dealt with. It's just in different folders. So you still have a lot of email to do, even though it should be less than it was before. Because a lot of it would be junk and things you don't have to deal with. Now what we're going to do is we're going to start with the now folder, because that's where the most important emails should be.
For each email in the now folder, we're going to follow this system, we're going to review it to see if we can either dump it, delegate it, defer it, and then and only then if we can't dump delegate or defer it. Are we going to actually do it? And it's very important you don't skip these steps. Don't just jump to doing it because you're going to miss A lot of opportunities where there's emails that for some reason, should not be done by you. They should be done by other people. And I'm going to go through each of these steps in a bit more detail so you understand how to apply it.
