Hello, everybody, welcome back to the second dashboard. I've done the formatting. So let's see how to finalize this data. To do so, first, the only thing that is left is if I select India over here automatically, it should show me the data for India. Now to do that, first we have to connect this particular reference to the data that we have presented over here. So I'll just change this formula a bit.
What I've done over here is I have selected the number of employees and divided with by the average, so that I can get an estimate of the percentage based on the average what is the percentage of India if it is compared with the whole, we just made a little change. So the formula is simple that is average divided by the number of employees divided by the average, which gives me the percentage average. Now the requirement is if I select India or any other country, it should show me only that particular country in the field. Now, we all know this percentage determines the size of these circles. So so we'll be using the IF function. So before starting what I've done here is I've named it user country so that I don't have to come here and reset the formula.
Let's see how to do this. So in the formula bar I'll put in the formula that is equals if bracket open if user country is equals to the country to the left and make it 100% that is one. If the user country is equal to all the countries which will be constant across then calculate this formula. And if not, keep it zero. So what actually happens is the value will automatically change based on the country that I select over there. Let's see what happens.
So, I just completed the formula and here if I put India and press enter, automatically only India gets highlighted. Now you can see the data the rest are all zeros. Only India is at 100%. That highlights only India isn't that good. So it's all just limited by the imagination. Now, we can use this to our desired outcome and we can make even better usage of this data.
So, now I have a slider bar which can control the data for me and based on the selections that I make based on the slider automatically the data gets reflected on the chart at the bottom of the sheet and they will take a little time there it is, the data gets represented and here are the results. So I say Indian rupee. So Get the results for the Indian rupee and with a max min and average results as needed. So that's a dashboard created just by using formulas and functions in Excel. I'll finalize this dashboard and give it a final look and then we'll start with the third dashboard till then keep practicing and exploring. We can even do more than what I've done now keep learning explore the possibilities that Excel has to offer.
Just bring it to back to all countries. And we can have all the countries back to actual keep learning keep practicing. See you
