Hello everybody. Welcome back to the second dashboard. In this video, we will learn how to extract the data that we have created from data from dashboard that is average max and min into the dashboard, where the user has the benefit of selecting from the drop down. And for that I made some provisions. Now let me explain those. Once I've named all the designations that is unique to designations as desig.
The experience is unique experience. And the data itself has average data MAX data and then data. Apart from that, I've also created a small set in the map where I need the data set. I've mentioned that in the order that it's needed, so just one below the other now let's use it. So we'll be using index. So now normally we have used the first index formula.
This time we'll be going with the second that is more advanced. So as we are looking for references the references are multiple So we will put it in brackets. And it should be in the order that is in the actual data, whether it's first, second, third, and so on. Once you understand the concept you can play around with it. So I'll say first is my average data, then MAX data, and then min data and then if there are any problems that can be altered later, now bracket closed, comma. Now the question is row number, the row number is defined by division, so we'll say match.
Looking out for the division that's to the left, and there's an M 20. Now I'll be dragging across so I'll be using f4 to make em constant press f4 three times. Now from the data, the actual references, so I have named this unique designation zero for an exact answer. Now comes the second parameter that is column number. Now again, match looking for the given x perience now as all the experiences in the 19th row, I'll be using f4 to freeze the 19th row. And looking at from the unique experience the name that I've provided, and zero.
Now that's for column index number. Last but not least, from which reference should the data be captured. Now that's decided based on the average or whichever the user will be selecting. And for that, I've named it over here sequence. So if the person selects average, it will go with the first if Max, then second third min. So to get that we'll also use match.
But the problem is the set range has average data with it. So I'll be using an and to connect these references. So I'll select the value and I'll freeze it I'll use an ampersand to connect it with the extra text that I've written down. And I've put it in double quotations and in double quotations, I'll put in the message that I would like to add that is underscored Data is what I need to add. So when the user selects average, it automatically gets added up with average underscore data. And I wish to get that from the sequence that I've actually created in the mapping sheet.
I would like to have the exact answer, close the bracket. And last but not least, I have to close index as well once done Ctrl, Enter. And there it is, I have the relevant average data. Now to get the dynamic answers, I just have to select Max and I get MAX data and I select min I get the minimum data. Now in the next video, we will see how to convert this data into a mini graph that will be visible in the average column. Until then, keep practicing.
See you in the next video. Thank you
