You're now going to learn how to use your ages to help control that speed and direction while you're snowboarding. So one way to really start to think about controlling that speed is to think of your snowboard just like the gas pedal in a car. So in the car, if you go on the accelerator on that gas pedal, boom, you're going to be going fast there. And if you come off the pedal room, that speeds really gonna slow down for you. So we're this relates to our snowboard. You can see here if I have no edge in the snow and the boards flat and there's not much a script, I'm going to be able to slayed there.
However, if I start to think about bending my knee and my ankle and pulling my tools up into the roof of the boot, you can see there I come off the pedal, and that board isn't going to be able to slide there. So what you want to do is just try filling the board slip and then grip as you pull up your tools. When you're thinking of your snowboard like this gas pedal is really good to develop the sensation of banding through those lower joints to gain grip from the edge and then relaxing them and letting that base lower to let the board slide
