The first part, we're going to use a lot of tapping. So what we do when we tap is we want to use just the pads of the fingers. If you have long fingernails, you want to be careful not to poke yourself. So using the pads of the fingertips. So we start at the top of the head, and placing the fingers on top of the head, we use that lightly start tapping. And there are certain methods that have a very prescribed pattern.

But I find that often and for most people, it becomes almost stressful to try and worry about, you know, are you following the exact paths of all the channels and finding hitting all the points Exactly. on target, and if you're not an acupuncturist, you might have some problems with that. This method, just by tapping around just freely, you're going to cover everything This is a lot easier for me to do since I don't have any hair. But you just want to tap lightly to feel the scalp start to tingle. Just tapping all around this top of the head. Right now after tapping the top of the head, we're going to start moving down to the face.

Now for this, I'm going to take my glasses off. And if you're watching this video and you have glasses, you may want to watch first before you try, because it's going to be hard for you to see what's going on. So what we do is then we take the fingertips and massage almost like you're putting your lotion on this way I tend to think about this you don't want to use any more pressure than you would if you were applying like a lotion, sunscreen face screen, something like that. Some just very, very light just from the center out to the sides. And then we're going to do is we're going to take the index finger, so if you take your index finger and you bend it so that your thumb is touching the fingernail and we're going to take this inside portion of that middle knuckle and start right in that third eye area, and the way I do it is to put my two knuckles together and then along the eyebrow just rubbing Gently out and you may be surprised at how much tension you feel in this area hanging from the center just rolling along the eyebrow to the corner of the eye.

Then using the same hand formation, go under the eye right the corner of the eye and you can feel your, the base of this occipital bone right here is the orbital bone and if you press And slightly and rub along the bone. So we're gonna go from the inside to the outside. Good. Now, after this and we're going to do is take the fingertips and lightly touch around the area the temple and just draw Very, very smooth circles. Now this one, we may want to have even less pressure than you did at the top. This is very, very light, relax, calming energy.

Just allow the hands to move around freely, but focusing in the area around the temple. Then what we're going to do is to start right at the top of the jawbone right by the ear and go down the line. Using the index fingers, we're going to start right up on the inside the nose right by the eyes. And we're gonna pull down along the face along with those. And you're gonna run into right at the base of your nostrils, you're going to feel right in here, a little bit of indentation. So this is where your sinus cavity is.

So you're going to do to start at the top and pull down and squeeze in and up slightly. So you want to think about like your fingers are going in and up towards your brain with a little bit of pressure Not a whole lot to squeeze in. And then exhale as you exhale, slide your fingers down off of this spot down along the top of your your lip area. So he starts to top down, squeezy, get slightly release. Now you can do as many of those as you need. But what I will warn you is that this is a very sensitive area so you can bruise yourself quite easily.

So the first few times you try this Do your four or five with not a whole lot of pressure. Then as you begin to get used to this then you can start to increase the amount of repetitions. This is excellent, especially during cold and flu season to help keep the sinuses open. So, after we've finished here, just gently massaging under the nose, around the top of the lip and down. Good that covers the front of the face. Now, the next action is going to be a unique exercise which is called beating the heavenly drum.

Beating the heavenly drum is utilized for raising consciousness, raising brain activity, clearing the mind and bringing us to what is often referred to as pre heaven or pre Natal state. So, the idea with this is that you'll use your hands to cut your ears and your fingers will, like you're crossing your fingers for good luck. your index finger is going to slide off of your middle finger like this and what's going to happen, it's going to create a Like a little flicker thump. So if I do this on my knee, you should be able to hear that little thumping sound. So that thump is going to be occurring on the base of your skull right around the occipital ridge. So when you have that thump, you're going to alternate sides and because your hands are going to cup your ears, so like I'm cutting my knee here, there's going to be a slight vacuum that's created.

This is going to sound in your head like a drum going off. So there are a lot of theories related to this and why it works. Why one of them is that the sound That you hear in your head will remind you of your pre birth state, being in your mother's womb. So the sound you hear is a representative of the sound of your mother's heartbeat while you're in the womb. So this is supposed to take you back to this time, this prenatal time, because before we're born, we don't have any of the words or the cares that are part of the human existence. So we're able to take ourselves back to a more pure state.

So this is one of the ideas when you thump in relationship to this theory, the thumping should be about the sound or about the tempo of a calm resting heart rate. So you're going to find that your body is going to want to to get in sync With that vibration, so the process is very simple. Hands cup. Like you don't want to hear anything on the outside world. So you don't want to push too hard. You don't want to think like you're trying to squeeze your head and pop your head.

You just want to seal the index fingers over the middle finger and then we thump in an alternating pattern, and different people have different theories about how long you should go. I say yeah, do as long as you feel comfortable with. Alright, so hands Open Cup. Middle finger touches the back of the head. index finger crosses over the top. And then we gently begin alternating this thumping pattern.
