Welcome back. In this video, we're going to talk about creating your premium. Okay, so your premium is going to be the free gift that you're going to give away. That's going to entice people to actually opt in and give you their information, their name and email, which is what you're after. Okay, so why create a premium? Well, a premium is going to increase your OPT in percentage, okay?

We found that when you give away something, you know, a lot of times people will opt in because they want to be on your newsletter, they want to hear more from you. But more times than not, you know, people are enticed to opt in, if they're getting something right now for free. That's going to help them reach their goal, okay, so it's going to increase your OPT in percentage. You know, if 100 people come in to opt in, it's not that great. But if your premium can double your OPT in rate, then your money you're basically continuing to profit off work you've done once, okay, which is basically what email marketing is all about, is doing the work once and continuing profit, okay, so your premium is very important. If you don't have a lot of knowledge on your topic elance.com and guru calm are actually great places to go and have someone create a premium for you.

Okay, so you can have a free report created, you know, with the top 10 you know most important things about that topic. If you don't know that niche very well. Just make sure that that premium is specific to the target audience, okay, so if you're, obviously if you're, if you're getting traffic from an audience that's all about weight loss, then make sure the premium is an audio or video or a PDF about losing way you know, eating healthy, something that's as specific and as targeted as you can make it to your list. Okay, because that's going to go a long way to actually making sure that people you know, enter their name and email and actually opt in to your list. So when you're creating your premium remember not to skimp on this Pay your premium is your very first impression, okay, this is your first chance to build trust and build relationships with your list.

Okay? So, you know, if you have a really great lead capture page and the premium looks really cool, and then people get it and it's not that great, then you know, they're gonna lose trust in you immediately. But if it's awesome, if it's your best technique, you know, if it's something they can take and go implement right now, and they can actually go out and get results with it, then they're going to turn around and think you're awesome. You're automatically going to build good rapport with your list. And the next time you email them, they're going to be more likely to open your email and see what you have to say, which means they're going to be more likely to, you know, read the email and click on the link and go and buy something that you're promoting to them. So remember, make your premium awesome, make it your best thing you know, just give it away for free, make it your best technique.

And don't worry about you know, giving something away. for free, if you give something that's really good away for free, then you're just going to build more and more trust and they're going to want to know what you have to offer going forward.
