I'm Joe McCall. Welcome to ultimate drumming calm. I'm gonna show you this really cool triplet fill pattern. First I'm gonna play it for you and then I'm gonna break it down what Playing this pattern, I'm counting eighth note triplets. eighth note triplets. I like to count them evenly, evenly, evenly evenly.
I'm playing on every syllable that I say. It's gonna go like this. Each evenly is the length of a quarter note. I'm going to add the bass drum on the quarter notes. Or each time I say eat, it's going to go like this evenly, evenly, evenly. I'm playing this triplet pattern.
I'm playing two triplets on each drum before I move to another drum. We're gonna play just the hands. Here's how it goes. Evenly evenly three. Now I'm gonna add the foot numbers or the ease, what to eat. Once you get comfortable with that, try to pick up a little bit of speed.
A great way to practice these triplet fills would be to play two measures, shuffled. Beat two measures fill something like this. A one, a two, a three. There you have it, another great sounding film you can add to your drumming repertoire. Thanks for watching. I'm Joe McCall.
I'll see you soon at ultimate drumming calm
