I'm Joe McCall. Welcome to ultimate ramy.com. I'm going to show you this really cool triplet pattern. First I'm going to play it for you. And I'm going to break it down note by note and show you how it works. Why a two three I'm playing this pattern.
I'm counting eighth note triplets. eighth note triplets. I like to count them evenly, evenly, evenly evenly. I'm playing on every syllable that I say. It's gonna go like this. Evenly is the length of a quarter note.
I'm gonna add the bass drum on the quarter notes. Or each time I say eat. It's gonna go like this. evenly, evenly, evenly, evenly in this pattern I'm playing an accent on the numbers or each time I say E. It's similar to the pattern I showed you before. But this time the sticking has changed. So I'm going to be playing a Right Left, left, right, left, left, right, left Left.
Right hand is going to be on the accented note the symbol or TomTom. left hands gonna be playing on the snare drum. It's gonna go like this. bass drum is going to go on to ease or numbers or every time I hit the symbol or accent. evenly, evenly, evenly evenly. Going to speed it up a little bit even later.
Evenly evenly. So you can see a pretty cool pattern. A smart way to practice this would be to play to measure shuffle beat, two measures Phil. Go something like this. What? And there you have it.
Another great sound rhythmic pattern you can add to your drumming repertoire. Thanks for watching. I'm Joe McCall. I'll see you soon at ultimate drumming.com
