Hi, Welcome to a course on of self care and learning about alternative therapies for depression and anxiety. My name is Samantha Kristofferson. And together, we are kW professional organizers. We have been in the field of professional organizing for the last five years and worked with hundreds of clients. Yeah, it's our passion to share with others how to make time for self care, and how to find out what works for you. So we designed this course, to basically describe to you the breakdown of what self care is, mental health, the activities that you can do, templates that you can fill out, and all the things in between to learn about self care, to practice.
Time for yourself to to look after your mental health. You don't need to have any experience you just need to be willing to try something different. And if you're not feeling great, this can be a tool that can help you feel better. So oftentimes, we've found with the people that we have worked with that therapy is one great method for starting to get a handle on things like depression and anxiety or other mental health issues. But the thing that's missing is what do you do in your actual environment. And that's where experience of being professional organizers can really come in and help you is that we are able to say, okay, we know that you're feeling down and how is your physical environment affecting them, you're going to find what excites you?
What are the activities that brings you joy, and then try to set up the right space and the right mindset for you to make time and to schedule it in your calendar and to make it happen.
