For this lesson, we decided to put in a taste of the Master Music Talent - Learn To Sing Like a Superstar course. We designed Learn To Sing Like A Superstar to be different from other vocal courses and to take you from the realms of ordinary to Super-stardom. It took us 7 years to make and produce. The exercises for the major scale include 5-speed variations with 2 backing tracks for both the male ranges (Bass - Tenor) and female ranges (Alto - Soprano). The tempos for these exercises are 80bpm, 100bpm, 120bpm, 140bpm, and 160bpm. Its easy to pitch with the piano no? so we included the two backing tracks at the tempos of 100bpm and 120bpm where you can test your vocal ability in pitching and running through the exercises on your own without. The exercises at the tempos of 140bpm and 160bpm can be utilized with advanced vocal techniques to really create the most amazing and astounding flexibility and control. The major scale is that of an intermediate level scale and should not be attempted without rigorous vocal practicing. This exercise moves through a higher range than that of the 5 Tone Major Scale and Major Triad Froward Arpeggio We now take our 5 Tone Major Scale and add 3 intervals to it to give us a full major scale. The major scale is one of the most fundamental scales used in almost every genre of music. Most people know this scale as the “Do – Re – Mi” scale. The major scale is made up of 7 intervals that span a 12 semitone range from octave to octave. We sing the major scale with lip rolls from the first note up to the last note sequentially through seven intervals finally hitting the octave of the initial starting note at the top with no variation in the exercise. We then in the same breath sing the exercise back down finishing on the initial starting note.
