Hello there. Now that we have seen how we can create the double sided PCB, let's try some hands on using a simple schematic that we have. So this is the schematic that I have. And now what I'm going to do is I'm going to try and create a double sided PCB out of this particular schematic. So let's begin. So that's first thing is you have to switch to the board.

And once you switch to the board, make sure you have to first place all the components and try to get the components as close to each other as possible your layout should be natural, that is very important thing and that will come only out of practice. Once you have all your components placed rightly in place like this, then you have to start drawing or start creating your track or the route of your receipt. So this is the layout. And now what we have to do is we have to create an artwork. Now to do that, we have to use a tool called rush. And when using route tool, here, you can select the type of paint you want.

So this is a pencil we usually prefer and choose a layer, let's say, bottom copper. And then you can start creating your tracks just like what we have done in our previous work. When we started the single sided PCB. You can also choose the width over here, let's say just a bit of 20 at minimum. And that's how you can start reading or start noting your receipts. Now, as you can see, my design has a very basic flow and have been facilitated.

So this tracks should go to this point and My earrings are placed a little bit opposite direction. So what I have to do in this case is this point should come out to this side so that it gets easily connected with this place or with this point here onto the ice. So what do you need to do is simply just choose the move tool. Select your LED and double click the right click two times that will rotate your LED do it for all of them. And you will see now the placement looks natural. Go to the mouse button while doing so the residence will change your space is done.

Now again start man start talking The tracks. Now, there is no difference in creating a single sided PCB and a double sided PCB, except for in a double sided PCB, what we will do is we will drop the strikes on both the sides of your PC. Why we do that because many times what happens is we have to fit some components in a very restricted space. And so, it becomes very difficult for us to adjust all the layers or all the tracks going through the single layer in such place. We try to take what we prefer having demonstrated this I'm just pulling it roughly. Now, you can see this point to go inside, I have to create a track from the components like here So you have to make sure you can find the tracks like this, then short all of these together, and so on.

And there will come a time where you have no loves to rotate from a single layer, and then we have to change the layer, another side out. Now, I want to correct this point here, that we create a very complicated track like this, which I don't want. So what I do instead is I change the layer and I'll take the strap onto the top upper side. Now we'll change the layer what you have to do is just start with a track like this. Then use the scroll wheel and just press it not upward, not downward. Just This image which is called as middle click of the mouse, and as you do it you can see highlights in there and then the black color changes now became red.

Now I can directly connect to the PC. If needed, you can change it back to the bottom copper using the same mouse button. Now the top copper track is selected so all the tracks will know and onwards will be placed in top copper side. Again, if you need, you can change the layer by going to here and just change make it bottom copper complete as many tracks as you can. Now see, I have to connect it here. So I'll just changed it back here.

Then another way to change the layer is just started right Leave it might be making most once, then just go here and change the layer to top. So it shows up high up, is that track really changing. If I didn't want to change the layer, I can go to that point or click the middle mouse button. Here's the bottom cover track and so on, you can complete your artwork. So I'm just doing all the connections here. Now this is not coming out of here.

So, again, change the layer it will come over and then finish similarly Draw all the tracks in your PCB and finish your layout. Now, I take the stress out so here I will change the layer, make it bottom cover then continue again make it top cover then take it like this again wicked Smart Home copper and then rock metal here Top Shop and complete this one collection is remaining. So, all collections seems to be completed and that is the simplest possible Double sided PCB that you can create. Again remember, it's not necessarily that this is sufficient only introducing this diversity technique. I have used the schematic for the demonstration after the SMT components that you will study in the next session, it is mandatory to use both the tracks because sometimes get soldered onto the other side and some surface mounting trap components were soldered onto the top set.

There it is compulsory here it was not compulsory. I could have extended the size little bit I could have worked out a little bit and I could have upgraded all from bottom copper layer. But if you have a complex socket, which requires a double sided routing, then you have to get your job done. So, experiment with this and see how it gives. That's logic
