Hello, in this JavaScript programming video, I am going to cover the assignment operators. So we've already done one of them. Let me show you which one variable var one equals nine. That right here is an assignment operator. It's a whatever on the right, the input the data on the right, assign it to whatever's on the left, which is a variable. And if we console log, log this reload, we get nine.
So there are a bunch of other well I'll change this to the next operator we are going to look at is the Add assignment operator. Add assignment operator. And this essentially, we've already gotten a VAR two equals nine. We can do var two plus equals six. And this is add six to whatever var two is for as much as nine. We should get the value 15.
Okay, okay, you think I can guess what the next one is, and you will be right is the subtract assignment operator. So subtract assignment operator. What it does is, it performs the modulus operator on vol six or whatever is inverse x which happens to be known to you Nine, modular six, whatever we get from that, that gets assigned to this variable vol six. And you know modulus just checks the remainders nine modular six, six goes into one with a remainder of three therefore it is assigned the value of three. And that is it for the assignment operators.
Probably the main one you use is this and you won't even know that you're using it.
