I want to thank you for being a part of this class on media training for authors. If you follow the advice here, I think it's going to help you promote and get into the media more promote your book and sell more books. I do want you to give a lot of thought to really what is your message for the book that how you can repeat it as opposed to just spraying all your information out all the time and nothing ever being consistent. And I want you to really practice your interviews on video before you go on. And really, you should be revealing every one of your talk show appearances in news interviews forever. Always be looking at what you did well, in an interview, always be looking for what you can do better.
And really think of this as a long term game. It's a way for you to share your expertise. And if you don't get on the bestseller list the first couple weeks. It won't matter if you keep promoting And using every opportunity you can to promote your books for that long tail that long period of time, you will still sell a lot of books, you will help a lot of people you will share your expertise. But you always got to be looking for for example, I'm looking for it right now. I wrote a book 10 years ago, called media training AZ now it's been updated, and you're getting this book at no charge, it's in the bonus material.
So you'll get the entire copy as a PDF. That's a book that did not make the bestseller list, but you know what, for 10 years, it is sold consistently. And I get orders for all the time on Amazon, the paper version as well as the electronic version because anytime I'm in the media, if I'm analyzing someone's media skills, that is how they live identify me as the author of media training, etc. So that's the good thing about books is it can be a part of your bio for a long, long time. So, please always be looking at the long term how you can use your expertise to communicate to the world if you do that often enough. You will sell a lot of books.
Good luck in the media and good luck selling books.
