So why do people say or, you know, a lot of times in my experience, people only do it when they're feeling uncomfortable when they're giving a speech or presentation doing a media interview, leaving a voicemail, something that takes them out of their normal conversational mode. And what's happening is they're self conscious. And they're thinking, Oh, everybody's looking at me. How do I fill up this empty space? I don't want it to be an awkward silence. That's when people do it.

It's important to realize you don't have to fill up the sound, you can simply pause. This course is going to give you even more techniques of how to do it. It sounds easy when I say it, but I want to give you a lot more practical tips to solve this problem.
