The final element, which I didn't even put on this list, because it's so important, as we've talked about at the very beginning of the course, and throughout the course, did you have your sound bites on message? That's really the most important thing. So be sure to judge yourself for any rehearsal. any actual video of an interview? Do you have great soundbites. So I'm hoping this helps you but one caveat.
Don't limit yourself to my criteria. You may have your own criteria, you may have other elements. So when you're watching yourself, or watching others use the elements you want. But what I am a big believer in is you have to be highly specific, left to their own devices. What I find most people do is they just form a general impression. Oh, that was a good interview that I worked.
That was a bad interview it was off. There's nothing you can do with that to help you for the future. So you need To have the discipline of analyzing in a highly specific way. So you know, you did these 28 things? Well, you did these two things poorly. Let's work on these two things.
And maybe next time you only do one thing poorly and you did 29 things well, hold yourself accountable. rate yourself fairly. You can be harsh where you need to be harsh. But don't just focus on the negative focus on the whole picture. Whether you use my list or your own. You need a comprehensive look, at every practice you do every rehearsal and every actual interview you do after the fact.
