So it's time to put into practice the lessons we've learned so far. Here's the scenario. At 823. This evening, one of your planes went down. It has 300 passengers. It went down in the middle of Nevada.
There's a desert area there. You don't know anything else you don't know who's alive. You don't know who's dead. You don't know what happened. That's all you know. But it's now a half an hour later, and you are absolutely consumed with reporters, reporters are calling.
They're showing up. They are demanding a press statement from you. And they are demanding someone on camera within the next 15 minutes or they're going to start running stories about how you're hiding. And they're going to start speculating that all 300 are debt. That's the scenario. So I need you to quickly brainstorm on message points.
Brainstorm on sound bites, and I need you to interview you Either yourself or have a colleague interview you, and then grade your results. Let's put together everything we've talked about so far. Please do now let's make this interview. About five minutes have an introductory statement for a minute or two. And then either ask yourself questions or have someone else ask you and, again, don't just talk it out. You need to record it on a cell phone.
And make sure you have video and audio of it. It could be a cell phone, it could be a webcam and iPad. Doesn't matter, but you've got to record this. Let's put it all together. Now.
