To practice a little bit more than memory palace technique, we are going to memorize the first five presidents of the United States of America. Remember to use a memory palace you have to pick five, in this case five places, a place that you are familiar with. In this video, we are going to learn the five presidents Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison and Monroe. But you can extend the process to all the Presidents if you want to remember them. So the first thing we are going to do is turn each president into a picture. So here are my associations Washington, I associated with a washing machine Adams I associated with him the first man created by God Jefferson, I associated with a chef cook medicine, I associated with medicine with bills in one row I associated with Marilyn Monroe.
Now the next thing you have to do is to imagine those five things Washing Machine, Adam, Chef medicine or pills, and Marilyn Monroe in the first five places of the location you chose create funny images in your mind. So tomorrow review your memory palace, see if you can still remember the images then do the same thing next week and next month. And you will probably remember the first five presidents of the United States of America for the rest of your life. And you can extend this to all presidents with no problem whatsoever. This is called spaced repetition and we are also using memory palace and you can use this to learn anything that you just want to work.
