The Bible was originally written in three languages. These three languages were Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The Old Testament was written mainly in Hebrew and the New Testament was written mostly in Greek. The Aramaic we find it not very often in the two testaments, the Old and the New, but it is there. Of these three languages, the one that has attracted the most attention to the Christian community is Greek, better known as koiné Greek.
