This next tip is going to sound a little touchy feely. I apologize, but it simply is true. highly productive people have a self image of being a highly productive person. highly productive. People don't walk around saying, Oh yeah, I'm lazy. I never do anything.
They think of themselves as competent people who are productive. Part of that is every success leads to the next success. It builds self esteem. And it's not as simple as just checking off a box. Oh, I want to know walk 1200 steps today. I did it.
I did. The weight room today. I did it. I wrote for half an hour. It's not just being a little machine of checking off things. It's accomplishing things you care about where you feel like you're helping others and helping yourself.
Now you might not be there yet you might not legitimately feel you are productive. I don't want you to just to mindlessly saying I'm a productive person, I'm not productive, that's not effective. But I do want you to give yourself credit, where you are productive and when you are productive and when you see successes. give yourself credit when you see successes, build on other productive successes, give yourself even more credit, because I want your perception of yourself as a productive person to be legitimate and to be based on reality. And whatever it takes stop calling yourself lazy and unproductive because that is unproductive and I hope soon it won't be true either.
