You may have a great memory I hope you do. productive people sometimes have great memories, sometimes they don't. But here's the thing. highly productive people, in my experience don't rely on their memory if it's important. They either write it down on a phone or they write it down on a piece of paper with a pen or pencil. Write it down.
It helps you organize your life more effectively. It saves you time and it makes you more productive. Think of the last time you went to the store you didn't write things down you got everything you thought you needed. You got home, you realize, Oh, yeah, I forgot the tomatoes I need for that salad you had to go back to the store simply wouldn't have happened. If you'd written it down if you'd had a grocery list sounds basic, I understand. But so few people do this consistently.
The skeptic skeptical of your memory assume your memory is faulty even if it isn't With all due respect to the other memory experts on this platform and authors, there's nothing wrong with physically handwriting a list or typing up a list on your phone. Because the act of writing it out, helps the memory but then you can simply look at it and check it off. Don't rely on your memory, rely on your ability to write list and check it off that way. You don't have to remember anything. Therefore it doesn't matter if you forget. It's all right in front of you.
