Just as I think you should avoid chasing certain productivity gurus and other gurus, I also want you to avoid chasing productivity gimmicks. Of course, it's always a good idea to look at how you can do something faster, smarter than others how you can eliminate certain time wasting activities without cutting important corners. But that's different than signing up for a weekend on how to write a best selling book in a weekend. Why would you want to write a best selling book in a weekend? It makes absolutely no sense if you're not willing to take the time not saying you got to spend 10 years writing a book, but a weekend or even 30 days. That's a bit much for most people, especially if it's a significant book of great importance.
Don't rush things give things the proper amount of time they need. Hollywood is filled with actors who are extras and have special All minor parts and parts are in the back. They may be in 50 6080 different shows movies, productions a year. Nobody knows their name, they don't make much money. On the other hand, the biggest movie stars in the world typically do one movie here. Because it takes time to prepare it, research it get in the role to actually do all the scenes as thoroughly as it needs to do and then it takes time to promote the movie to go to film festivals to do thousands of interviews to create enough awareness so that people go see the movie.
So go deep, go thorough. Don't go for the simple, easy shortcuts promised to you by someone lose 30 pounds in two weeks again, why would you want to lose 30 pounds in two weeks if you can lose 30 pounds in two weeks. You can gain 45 pounds in the next two weeks. All week. Looking for things that can help you long term and that are sustainable. It's not sustainable to lose 30 pounds in two weeks.
It just isn't unless you're having your, your jaw wired shut because of some other illness. look for solutions that can be quick, efficient, relatively fast but thinner thighs in 30 days, best selling book in a weekend or two weeks. This is all utter nonsense. Focus on real things that are sustainable. That's what productive people do. If it sounds too good to be true.
To use a cliche. It probably is.
