Let's talk about benefits. Supposedly one of the big drawbacks of being a freelancer is oh my gosh, I have no benefits. I have no health care. Let me say this is a lie. This is an app absolute lie that freelancers like to tell themselves. Here's the thing about benefits.
They don't just appear mysteriously to big corporations. You can't if you're a fortune 500 company go to the government. So well, we're now big give us all the better now. So we're two benefits come from. They just come from cash. Big companies buy them, how do they buy them by charging a lot more than the typical low level, inexpensive Freelancer so if you want benefits, you can have them you simply have to charge enough money to pay for it.
Now there's a whole section further in the course about pricing, how to charge how to get money from Your clients. But if you don't have benefits, all that means is you are not charging your clients enough money. Now I have benefits. I have health insurance, I have life insurance, vacation. I have a very nice lifestyle. How do I get I get that it's no big mystery.
I charge my clients a lot of money for most of my services or for my high end services, and from that money, I'm able to buy any benefit I want. So if you're going into this with the idea that you want a career, your own career, a good career. I don't know why you wouldn't want benefits, you can have them. It's all a function of charging the right amount budgeting and planning you can have the benefits the very same benefits, better benefits than anyone who works at a major fortune 500 company.
