One of the greatest dangers you face as a freelancer is if the marketplace perceives what you do as a commodity. once something is a commodity, then the only issue is price. If the only issue is price, I guarantee you, somebody is willing to do it for less than you are. There are countries in the world where people are happy making $5 a day because that means they made a lot more money than everyone else in their village. I don't mean to talk down to anyone in that situation. But I'm assuming most of you even if you get this course on a discount, do not want to work for $5 a day.
So you cannot ever allow yourself to be positioned as a commodity. You always have to be talking about what's unique with what you do, what's special about what you do, how your service is more personalized, how it has higher quality If you can't do that, or you're not willing to do that, then I'm sorry, but you're looking at $5 a day wages in the near future.
