Productive people don't do New Year's resolutions. Okay, that's a little bit harsh, of course, productive people can do that. But here's the thing, productive people realize, I can make a resolution any time of the year and make it stick because I'll have a plan. I won't just resolve the outcome I want. I'll give myself a specific timetable for reaching success measures at different stages. And if you buy into that you can start it at any time.
The problem most people have with new year's resolutions is it's just resolved. I want something good to come my way. I want to lose 30 pounds and yet not go to the gym and eat just as much cake and pie and candy. That's not really a goal. That's just a wish. It's almost a childlike wish.
And that's why New Year's resolutions rarely worked productive people understand the difference between a Resolution a wish and an actual goal, something you're willing to work toward. And that's what's important to realize you have that power, not just New Year's Eve, but you have that power every second of every day if you want to change yourself, and it's a realistic goal with timetables you can do I can't resolve the grow a thick, full head of hair, but I can resolve to produce at least two high quality online courses every month. That's something I can resolve to do, as long as I work on it every single day.
