Related to having a growth mindset is being optimistic, productive people buy in larger, optimistic or at least more optimistic than they are pessimistic. Now they may be pessimistic about society, the world, the planet at some level, but they're very optimistic about their role, what they have power over. They are big believers, that the future looks brighter for what they can do. And that's in part what motivates them to want to produce more. Let's look at this logically. If you're truly pessimistic, I mean, things are just going to get worse things are going to fail.
So why bother starting new things? Why bother trying to make things better? Why not just keep grab hold of whatever you have and protect what you have. That's not the attitude of most productive people. Now, many Many productive people too. I'm not an optimist.
I'm just a realist. And the reality is, I've got a great idea. I work hard I can put together teams, I can really produce something that's still being optimistic that you can do that a true pessimist would say, why bother? It's gonna fail. Why hire people, they'll just rip you off. People are bad.
It's not a good idea. The investors who say they're going to give you money won't. It's just too much hassle. Everyone's going to conspire against me, it'll never work. That's the attitude of the pessimist. pessimists don't get much done.
Now. They may have a particular job and be effective at that. And they may have a certain level of productivity as far as just getting through life. But that's not true productivity as far as growing, getting better, creating more for your family, yourself, your community, the world Ultimate productivity when I'm talking about requires an optimistic mindset.
