One Piece of office technology I do like for organization, this is a low tech solution, whiteboards that you can draw on with. With Dry Erase ink. I find it so helpful to really map things out to see how things interact, see what feeds into what, look at progressions of things, and it really helps my planning, you might be different. But I urge you to at least experiment with some whiteboards to draw things out because we're so used to looking at things on cell phones or a computer screen. Sometimes when you see how things interconnect and it could take you seven feet across to show it visually will help you help you focus more and if you are working with other individuals, teammates, other colleagues sometimes just friends and family and spouses who are work with you. It can trigger something in people's brain in a more powerful way, seeing a visual representation.
Sometimes just writing out the words and putting circles and lines together. Showing the connections in a nonlinear way, is extraordinarily helpful. I do find it's a great productivity tool and I'm increasingly having my walls covered with them in my workspace.
