Hi, I'm Alex from Alex Schulman, calm, and welcome to this fantastic course on how to take epic drone videos while traveling. Now, these days, technology is getting more and more and more complicated. And you know, when it comes to new technology, like drones out, that certainly is just, it's way out there. It's far too complicated for a lot of people. Some people are okay with it, but others find it very overwhelming. And even for those people that are aware of the technology side of things, there's especially with drones, many other aspects to it that people can get caught up in and when you're going overseas, and you're investing all that money in the hotels and flights and you know your time and energy and going over there and you know, perhaps it's a once in a lifetime opportunity that you've gotten.

You want to take your drone with you you've again, you've invested a lot Money in that drone as well. You want to make sure that, you know you don't go over there and spend all that time and money only to not be able to get those photos or videos that you want for a number of different reasons from anything from a damaged drone to perhaps some certain laws, or you know, someone's talking to you. So I've created this course specifically to make sure that when you do want to go overseas, when you do want to travel with your drone and get those awesome, beautiful videos that drones can post certainly get they get some fantastic shots, that you know all the information, you know all the laws, you know all the tips and tricks and what to watch out for so that when you come back home, you've got those fantastic photos and you don't waste all that money.

All right, so now I want to be really upfront and honest and clear about this course and what this course is and what this course isn't there's a lot of courses out there and the last thing I want is for you as a student coming in and viewing this course and things That I'm supposed to be teaching something when I'm actually not. So to begin with what this course is, is we'll be teaching you a lot of information about the drone laws, and you know, security and the country specific laws and all that sort of stuff and how to find that information and what to watch out for while you're traveling. Because that's particularly important when you're talking about not just traveling, but traveling with a drone, we'll be teaching you how to actually get those fantastic shots and get those fantastic videos, you know, the actual controls and what you'll be pressing and what ones look better and how to, you know, do all those sorts of commands.

We'll also be going over sort of pre and you know, on the actual day checks and checklists of what you want to make sure that you're bringing and things to watch out for and what to sort of do on the day and, you know, tips and tricks around that. And then right at the end I'm just going to have a huge amount of rapid fire tips and tricks of all these fantastic things that you want to keep in mind while you You're actually traveling overseas with your drone. Now, a couple of things that this course isn't covering. The first one is that we won't be teaching you how to actually fly the drone, there will be some minute parts covered in the second section about how to actually get certain shots. But the very basics of, you know, flying up and down, flying left or right, taking off and landing safely and the actual controls of your actual drones specifically, that won't be covered here.

It is a very detailed thing to cover. And I've actually created a separate course for that code, how to become the ultimate pilot, and that is specifically for DJI drones. So if you want to go and learn that and you have a DJI drone, feel free to look up that course it's very widely popular. The second thing that we won't be covering in this course is the post processing. So we'll be covering how to actually get to the location matrix. Everything's right get those photos, get those videos on your drone and get them back home safely but in terms of copying them onto your computer and editing them in Lightroom, or you know, Final Cut Pro or anything like that, that we will not be covering it is incredibly complicated too, sometimes simple, but that in itself is an entire course.

So it's outside the scope of this course we will be teaching those other things that I mentioned, but those two things will not be covered on this course. I also wanted to show some just fantastic stunning photos that people have taken while they're traveling to kind of give you a bit of inspiration and get people excited about this course because drones can take absolutely stunning photos as you can see here. And it can be just as yourself as a you know, a huge amazing selfie or it can be you know, over a waterfall or many many different sorts of photos that you can take or videos that you can take with your drone and it's not Just this new perspective on taking a video or a photo that you get when you travel with your drone, I find it's actually really exciting because you can actually explore more of the places that you go to usually when you go to a tourist destination or a, you know, hike or something like that, you're while you're limited to walking around on your feet, when you have a drone, you know, you may not take videos or photos or that you can fly out for you know, 500 meters in one direction in the blink of an eye and see what's on the other side of that hill, see what's on the other side of that, you know, gorge or see what the waterfall looks like, from above instead of from underneath.

And there's all these different types of things that you can do to really kind of make your vacation or your travels better than what it previously was before. And I think you'll find that once you start taking your drone with you that you really weren't want to actually leave without like not just because you've probably spent a bit of money on it and you don't want to go without it. But it gives you that new perspective and that new sort of take on your existing holidays. It's, it's very hard to describe, but it's a fantastic thing. So I'd highly encourage you. So I also want to thank you for taking this course.

It's very appreciated. And next, we'll get into the section two, which is drone laws and the security and the safety and all that sort of stuff. A lot of people think that drones are toys, and toys with expensive process, but some of them, but because they're thinking of it as the toys, they often just don't think about laws have security or safety or they don't even realize that different countries have different laws, and you really do have to pay attention to them. It can be a lot more complicated than people first thing. So we'll get into that in the next section. So I'll talk to you then.
