Now reliance telecom limited provided mobile telephony services in Nine Circles in India. We know that India is a large country and the government has decided that the country is divided into various small parts, which will be utilized as a mobile circle, mobile telephony circle.
Now, each telecom operator if he wants to provide mobile telecom telephony in one of the circles, he has to take a exclusive license for that particular circle. So, reliance telecom had nine such licenses. Now, they were licenses for West Bengal, Calcutta, Assam not teased him agile etc. reliance telecom was owned by Mr. Anil Ambani who was one of the richest person in the world maybe he still is. Now, in 2009 reliance telecom limited was merged with Reliance Communications limited, which is owned by Mr. Lindemann, his brother, Mr. Mukesh Ambani. Now for reliance telecom ever since it started business in 2003.
All the IT solutions are provided by Siemens and I was a part of Siemens in 2005 onwards, where I was given charge of all the systems which are to be provided by provided to reliance telecom and other operators also, but reliance telecom and was the largest customer that I used to handle for most of my time in Siemens.
