Pick a day off a week to be patient. On that day, whenever you experience and patients rising up within you, simply observe it. You can observe it by trying to become aware of the negative physical sensations that it can bring to your body. Maybe it's a pain in the stomach, maybe it's stress on the head. simply observe these physical sensations and try to overcome it accepted and tell yourself that it's okay that it's okay. So when you face situations, where you feel the need to escape physically, or into the mind, what to distract yourself with other things like music, or entertainment simply face that impatience with patience.
Instead of saying it is not okay. Tell yourself it is okay. And try your best to come into acceptance with whatever is happening. That is making you impatient. So for this exercise, you can just try your best to remain an inpatient situations for just a bit longer before you get up
