Welcome back to my energy course I'm going to keep this very, very simple for you smile. Smiling releases serotonin and endorphins into your body, which your body's natural feel good drugs. If you very simply want to feel better smiling will do it. And your brain hasn't learned to distinguish between a real smile and a full smile. So smile more often. do that now and notice how you feel.
I'm going to keep this very simple. There's studies out there that have shown that people are perceived as more successful or more approachable and friendlier. People who smile a lot. So when you're answering the phone when you're walking into a situation, when you're about to do something that involves other people smile Fast and notice how your energy is affected. What alarmed me is that so few people smile this this often these days, and so many people are on antidepressants. Notice how often these people on antidepressants actually smile.
They forgotten to use their own natural feel good drugs, and they're taking other ones to replace them. So my task for you go out and smile, at least five strangers. And notice how it changes your energy. Now, they may not smile back, prepare yourself for that, especially if you're living around London. I've been in London many times as part of a lot of people and a lot of people will view me with suspicion, but every now and again, someone will smile back and it just makes me feel good. And quite honestly, even the ones that don't I laugh to myself thinking what they must have thought about this smiling old bloke walking towards them.
So go out and have With this smile, a few new people and your answer the phone, smile and notice how your energy is affected and write down how you feel. And I'll see you in the next video.
