Okay, so this section is all about getting you set up with your FX pro trading account and your online account. The reason why I want to get this sorted now is that your account will become an integral part of the course. So by getting it done up front means that you will be able to then benefit from the learnings that you'll go through in future topics. So in the next lecture, you'll notice there's a PDF document, which is what you see in front of you now, and this gives you the three steps that you need to go through in order to set up your account. Now, as I've said previously, you don't have to open a real account, but as a minimum, you will need to open a demo account. So in order to open a real account, if you're UK based, then you click on the link here.

If you're in any other country, click on the link here. And if you're just opening a demo account, click on the link here. Now step two will then take you through to the form that you need to fill out put all of details in, click Submit, attach the required documentation, and then fund your account if required. Now one of the questions that will ask you is what training account would you like so choose from either an empty for floating spreads account or a seed trader trading account. Both have their pros and cons, but both are sufficient when it comes to trading the news if you're a new trader, or have used the MT four platform before, I'd suggest going with mt four. However, there is no essential need to go with the MT four.

If you've done your research and you'd like to see trade a platform, then you can take a look at that as well. And then finally, step three, you will be sent all your details via email and it will give you full instructions on how to download the platform how to log into the platform, both for your trading platform and your online account. Then you can log into both have a play Have a look around because then when we come on to future topics, it will all make much more sense and your learnings will be all the more powerful. Okay, so let me just show you that in in real terms. So once you click on one of these links, you'll be sent to a web page, which will look a little bit like this, all you need to do is put in your personal details, then it will send you through to the trading account details.

That's where you'll select either your mt four platform or your C trader platform. And then you'll submit your documents. And what you'll then have is there's normally a little bit of a delay, but you'll get confirmation very now, which will give you your login details for your online again, and your trading account which we'll be using both of those as we go through the course. So in regards to your online account, let's have a look at that first and foremost. So with your online account, you go to the homepage FX pro comm or FX pro code at UK and you click on login. When you click on login, it will give you the ability to put your email address and your password in that you say up on your initial application, and that will then take you through to your main dashboard, which will look a little bit like this.

And the main area that we're going to focus on as we go through the course, is this little tab here, the Tools tab. I'm not going to go through it in detail now, because we've got future videos where we're going to go through the various elements of it. But this is the tab that you're going to refer to because we'll be utilizing some of these elements in the course in a little bit later down the line, you won't really need to worry about anything else is just the tool tabs that you need to be aware of. So that's how you sign up for your account. That's how you log into your account. And that's how you get to the tool section that will be going through in the later topics of the course.

Now also alongside that you'll get sent your login details for your trading platform. So I'm just going to go through both trading platforms if it's the MT four platform when you've downloaded it to your computer, it will looks a little bit like this. Now, I'm not again not going to go through the detail of the platform because there'll be other videos on that. I just want to show you how you log in. So how you do that you go to top left, you go to File, and you go to login to trade accounts, what you'll find is you get a box pop up and this will give you ability to put in your login number and your password and your server. How do you get those details they'll all be sent to you when you receive your email confirming your account has been open.

So all you do is go and select your account and login. And what you'll notice then is you'll get a connection confirmation bottom right hand side and also you'll see the currency pairs are flashing to confirm that you are live and you are active and your account trading platform is fully set up meaning that the when we go through the topics in in a future date, you will then be able to take advantage of using your own platform alongside the lectures as well. If you're c trader, it's very, very similar. you'll download it to your computer. You'll log in by going to the top left, go to C trader, go to sign in, and then again, you'll get a box pop up and you'll pop in your account number and password that you were sent. When you opened your initial application.

Once you click sign in, what you'll find is that again, same thing applies. You'll notice that the currency pair start flashing confirming to you that the market is live and you are fully connected and you'll be able to utilize this as we go through future topics and future learnings in regards to demonstrating the usability of the C trader and the MT four platform. I will be doing more videos on that so you get fully up to speed. All this video is is to cover how you set up your account how you log into your online platform and how you log into your account.
