Hi, I'm Johnny Johnny. This video will help you to understand whether or not you're meditating correctly. Now, the greatest journey you'll ever take in life is a journey into yourself. Now, life is divinely designed to make sure that you're already on this journey without meditation. Because every passing moment, every passing experience, every second every breath that you take, you're in fact developing greater knowing of who you are. And your relationship with a greater universe outside in inside.

But it's so easy to become distracted by what we see in the world outside we want to touch this we want to go there, we want to buy this buy that when the our attention is turned so outwards, then we develop very little knowing of ourselves. This is when Meditation comes in meditation is a technique which turns that outward attention inwards. You may be wondering, why are those people sitting on the floor like stones? Are they torturing themselves? Well by closing allies and l movements, we are turning that outward gaze inwards. We are closing ourselves from all the distractions outside, so that we can study ourselves more.

So, this is why we meditate. So, now in terms of are we how to meditate correctly? Well in terms of meditation, which focuses on self knowing, present moment, stillness, these are the most powerful forms of meditation self knowing. It sounds to the question in relation to these kinds of meditation. If you experience chaos inside thing that's correct. Have you experience peace when you meditate?

That's correct. If you experienced wandering thoughts, that's correct. Experience, desires, pain and pleasure. You are correct. That is because we're developing the knowing of what's happening inside. We're developing the knowing of who we are inside.

Now if we were to play music in the background, and then we become distracted by it, and start developing the knowing of that music thing that is not meditating correctly. But in terms of whatever you experienced on the inside, whether it's enlightenment, or nothing. That's correct. You're doing a right now in terms of going deeper into that knowing you have to develop stillness now this is the tricky part. stillness is the ability to observe or your wandering thoughts without participating in them. The ability to not react negatively to a painful sensation, not to create attachment towards that pleasurable sensation.

To let the anger we experience inside go to simply observe them patient that combs. They do come and go. Now this is an ability that only comes with practice. And this stillness has to be developed for you to go even deeper into yourself, otherwise you'll be just distracted and stuck. And the thoughts that you're participating and there's really no, well, there's a point of me telling you how to practice stillness that's much faster if you try. It's like me trying to teach you how to balance on one foot.

By simply practicing, you'll be able to know how it feels like to be out of balance, and how it feels like To be in balance. And likewise with stillness, the more you practice, you'll be able to know what it feels like to be out of stillness, and stillness. And as you develop the knowing, you'll be able to know the difference between simply observing and letting go of everything you experience. And the difference of that compared to reacting to them, becoming attached to them. Becoming rejecting to them. So, yeah, practice, practice, practice.

And also, yeah, don't beat yourself too much. If you think you're going backwards. That's, that doesn't happen. Some people may think, Oh my god, I'm going backwards because I'm experiencing more chaos than I did yesterday. You perhaps experienced peace one day than chaos the other day, it really depends what's happening on the inside that day, and how much how deep you've actually gone into yourself. So don't worry.

And if you keep practicing, you'll be able to address the chaos inside. And you'll be able to release them and go even deeper, release them and even go even deeper. And this is how we go deeper into ourselves. So don't worry, if you experience chaos or peace one day. It just happens. Some days, chaos, some days peace.

Of course, we want to get to a state we experience stillness all the time. And this is a lifetime journey of practice, practice in practice. So keep on practicing. Keep observing. That's how you develop the knowing of this self.
