You're almost done. You've made it through the hard stuff. Now it's time to take your test. Some key things to remember, whenever you're taking your test is, number one, take your time, we're in no rush, you're gonna get 50 questions, they're all multiple choice. And what I like to make sure that people do is they read the question, a lot of people read halfway through it and think they know the answer. And they miss those little words at the end that would have changed the answer that they would have thought about.
So read your question, make sure you understand what it's asking for. And then what I like to do, there's typically two bad answers in every set of answers for the question. I'd like to find those two answers and throw them out of my head so I don't think about them anymore. And then I go between the two remaining and I say, Hey, you know what, which one is the best answer for this particular question. It may or may not be the perfect textbook answer, but something that's the best answer. Don't overthink Things don't conjure up unicorns, the tests are going to be fair or the questions will be fairly straightforward.
They don't make up anything. They're not trying to lead you in one direction or the other. So don't go off track. You want to focus on that. Don't overthink it, and choose the best answer may not be the perfect one, but the best one there. In order to pass your test, you must achieve an 84% on your test.
That means that you can miss eight questions on your test. If you miss more than eight questions. Your instructor will remediate you go over those questions that you missed, make sure you understand them, and then give you another test to take or the same test to take over to get you to a passing score. remediation doesn't mean you did something wrong. It just means something just wasn't clicking. Or maybe you felt the question through not enough or he answered it too quickly.
It's usually a word or two that that you missed during that question that led you to get that wrong. So don't worry about it. You'd have done a great job, you passed your test. Maybe you got remediated, maybe it didn't. But regardless, it's time to receive your card. Your instructor will tell you how you'll receive your certification card.
And feel free to ask them any questions about anything regarding to that, and they will really be helpful for you, hopefully.
