Build yourself up?
You may be thinking, well I’m all grown up, and yet I still feel like I have been broken down by the circumstances of life. I am now, who I am, and there’s no changing who I’ve become. Well, that is, thankfully, not the case. In fact, you can change or improve aspects of yourself by building new neural pathways in the brain, through repetition and practice.
And on the agenda, today is reprogramming the ugly duckling inside of all of us and preparing it for the greatness that lies ahead. You see that little duckling needs to reframe who it is and what it’s worth because its whole life it was told it was ugly, or different, or not as good as everyone else.
Remember the ugly duckling that turned into the swan? (When it actually was a swan all the time) Ya, it's kinda like that. In fact, it’s exactly like that. Let’s find out how to discover your swan. By the end of this lesson, you should feel empowered, motivated, and ready to move into a more real and confident space.
So what can you actually get out of this chapter?
Well let’s see some of the mindset changes you may achieve:
This lesson is going to give you the tools to build your self-esteem, after all without any self -esteem you really can’t achieve very much in your life. Every action or decision is fueled primarily by our belief in ourselves; whether we deserve something and whether we are capable enough to achieve it. The greatest gift you can give to yourself is to work on improving your self-esteem since all success follows from there.
Keep a lookout for the daily exercises to do every day to turn you into a dazzling swan. Hey little duckling, you’re actually pretty great. Now let’s see what’s in store for you.
