So in the last lesson, I showed you how to create your own funnel and how to edit it, how to modify it according to what you need to have done. So that's great and all but as you as I mentioned, the default is that you have whatever you're signed up with an A dot clickfunnels comm slash, whatever it is right? That is not ideal because what you need to do is you actually you want to have a custom domain right? for whatever purpose your business is. So I'm going to show you how to set up that domain so that doesn't look that ugly right right now is kW David Lau nine FA three seven dot Click Funnels calm thought that so. So first of all, what you need to do is purchase a domain name cheap.

Name cheap is essentially a pretty good vendor when it comes to finding cheap domains and to buy Typically you can find something for under $10. So for example, if I wanted to search domain, I would do, let's say, pain management. Let's say I'm helping a chiropractor or something like that pain management today. I know I have pain management today.com size put us as an additional. So that works, right. So then I would go here add to cart, pretty straightforward.

View cart. Right? You don't really need any of the, any of this stuff, right? It's additional money. You can ignore it for now. You just need to order the stuff that's enabled automatically.

Right? confirm order. So this is 12. So this nine bucks us right before showing Canadian but because that's just where I'm based. But yeah, totally like nine bucks, and that's it, and then you'll be able to create. So you'll be able to own a domain and use it for your funnel.

Alright. So once you have purchased it, what you're going to go into name cheap, and then go here. So the one I'm going over today is pain management today. COMM right? So I'm going to manage that manage. And here I'm going to reach this page.

So this is where we'll be editing the options so that we can actually connect it to clickfunnels. So I'm going to go back here, right? I'm going to go to here, and then domain. Right, so this is where I'll add a new domain. So add your domain, close this IVR since I've already purchased one, I'm going to use an existing domain Then add your domain so I'm gonna go here and then copy this pain management today.com and then put that here. Paste, right?

Got rid of that. Pain Pain Management today comm add domain. So what you then do, I'm going to show you exactly what you need to do to connect successfully. You copy this, right and then you go into this section and you go to Advanced DNS. So once you're in advanced DNS, you would go down here I'm not going to explain the exact details for why this needs to be done. That just a lot more technical and me myself I'm not, I actually don't have a good explanation for it, but this is what really needs to be done.

You would go here, cancel everything. Right. Okay, first cancel the C name and then click add new record and then go to see name record and then put www and then target clickfunnels COMM And then set this to 30. Right? And then you would get rid of this URL redirect. Okay.

So this is the first part and then you would go to domain right and then copy this again and then you are adding the redirect here. So, www dot pain management, calm and destination URL is HTTPS ww talk pain management calm, right. Do that and then that's done that's all you need names you for and then you will say I've done this step. And yeah, it says we have connected and ready to use so I'm going to attribute it to the collect emails funnel associate the funnel And yeah, that that's it and then you when you go to funnels here go to collect emails, that's the funnel that we were using. So once you refresh this, it should show pain management today. Calm, right?

That's that. So it looks a lot better. Now, when people go to this landing page or this funnel, it doesn't look scammy right it looks like it's actually someone's website and not a phishing website or just just some scammer scammer website.
