So really quickly, let's take a look at some things on the homepage. You'll see I've got some data here from me clicking around in my shop. I'll draw your attention to this box here that says add your own domain to strengthen your brand. Right now it says that our current domain is web monopoly university.my shopify.com. This is a subdomain and we'd rather have our own domain.

So in our case, we'd want the domain webinar PL University comm so let's go ahead and click on Add domain. Let's see. Here's the sub domain. And now if I already had a domain, I could connect it to this account by clicking connected an existing domain or I could transfer it by clicking transfer. Let's see, Shopify also gives us the option to buy a new domain. So I'll click on that.

And let's type in web monopoly University and see how much it'll cost to get from Shopify. So for web monopoly University comm, Shopify will give it to us for $14 a year. There are other hosting sites that you can use, such as GoDaddy will give it to us for 1199 and also these other sub domains, or TMD hosting, where we can get it for 250 to 95 a month. Select the hosting site that you think will work best for your business and then go ahead and connect your domain once you've gotten your store set up and ready to go.
