Welcome back. The objective of this lesson is for you to take action. This is where the rubber meets the road. You get to identify 123 focus points that will have you take the next step. But first, I really want to acknowledge and congratulate you on having come this fact. In this lesson, that's really not and that I can say to you, because it is all up to you to take the action.
You know how action speaks louder than words you understand? And it is totally up to you to take the next action step so that you can get your project out of your head and into the world. Having said that, I do have two tips for you that I really feel will be helpful for you to take the next step number one tip is all about taking so called imperfect action. Now please don't get me wrong here. There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to do a good job, and I'm sure that you do. But here's the thing.
At one point, we simply cannot draw the nine and declare our work good enough, good enough to go. So what I mean by that is that rather than letting your inner perfectionist hold you back, rather take imperfect action, so at least you get to make the next step. I have a favorite mantra that has helped support me many times and it is done is better than perfect. Because it is only by taking that very first step that you will be able to course correct and learn as you go. The number two tip that I have for you today is all about accountability. Now, I don't know about you, but I personally found that the power of having deadline is really, really helpful.
Chances are that if I had all the time in the world, it really would make me very much more productive. Now, how about you? Do you find that having a deadline helps support you in making progress? When it comes to accountability, I have also found it very helpful to have a so called accountability partner. What this basically means is that you choose a person whom you trust to have your best interest at heart. And then you set up an agreement to hold each other accountable towards your goals.
You know, that actually studies out there that proved that when you have an accountability partner, chances are that you will reach your goals up to six times faster. Now, I don't know about you, but I personally find that to be great news and I can tell you That it has really helped me make progress to have an accountability partner. Now there's a couple of different ways that you can set up an accountability partner agreement. I personally speak with my accountability partner on Mondays, and that way we get to forecast the coming week and hold each other accountable towards our girls. But you can find suggestions how to do your own agreement. If you look to page 79 in the untracked workbook.
To sum it all up, it is really important to keep in mind that you add the stat and I am a firm believer that if you have the idea that you want to write a book, then you have it within you to make it happen. Remember, you are the star. It really need not be that complicated. Keep it simple. Take imperfect action, and learn as you go. So to wrap it all up.
The best two tips that I can give you to help make the most progress with your project really is all about one taking imperfect action to the power of deadlines and having an accountability partner, should you feel stuck. Simply remember that the Amtrak map is designed in such a way that you can always go back and recommit to your commitment, and then you can identify which of the five untracked success principles that you need the most to make the progress that you need. I also would like to draw your attention to the untracked assessments, which you will find in the resource session which will help you identify which of the five on track success principles that you may need the most to take that important next step for you to make the most out of this last session. I suggest that you check out the untracked workbook Do the worksheet and then apply 123 focus points to your untracked map that will help you take that very important next step.
I want to thank you for having taken your time out to do this course and to take your commitment seriously, I truly hope that it has given you what you have hope for.
