What is PiYo?
PiYo (Pilates/Yoga) is a unique format inspired by the foundations of traditional Pilates and Yoga but amped up like 100 notches. We affectionately call it "Yoga for Rebels".
PiYo is a low-impact workout that uses bodyweight to increase muscular strength and flexibility and tone your body. PiYo combines traditional Pilates/Yoga poses into rhythmic combinations that lengthen the body and increase blood flow. You'll feel the mind/body benefits after just one class. Enjoy this workout. Your body needs it.
Each round is designed to be done for 6-8 weeks to master the choreography so you can focus on form and technique. Mastering the choreography gives you a better class experience and even better results. Pay attention to my form and technique cues throughout each class.
PiYo is an intermediate-to-advanced workout. If you are a beginner, pace yourself and modify as needed. Also, pause the video to take extra breaks as needed. With each class, you'll get stronger and the choreography will become easier to execute. As long as you keep coming to class you'll see results.
