Those for dummies book series are fantastic for someone who's a step by step learner like myself. I took notes on every one of the 78 cards from both books Taro for dummies uses the standard rider Waite tarot deck, which is like the mythic Tarot in meanings and pictures, and I felt this gave me a good understanding of my cards.
