Welcome back. In this video we're going to talk about buying on Craigslist. So Craigslist is one of the best sites on the web for one very simple reason. It's extremely useful. That blue and white page with links is about as vanilla as you can get, but there's a lot going on behind the scenes that makes it one of the most incredible resources on the planet. However, there is more than you can do with Craigslist and that plain Jane interface would lead you to believe.
You can say some Craigslist searching time and create a customized RSS feed for an apartment with Craigslist. For example, if you wanted to Manhattan two bedroom up to 20 $500 a month must accept cats. You can just drop that pages RSS feed into your blog, lines reader and you can view listings almost as they're posted either on your blog lines mobile or your home machine. So let's say we're here on housing we just click on search for say apartment housing. here in LA, stew rent, let's say just maximum 2500. Got a two bedroom, cats has image and search.
Here we've got this page here, all the results, you can come down here just click the RSS feed. And that will take you to where you can choose your specific logline. And from there, you can just get instant updates pretty much every time somebody posts a new post here on Craigslist. And then not only can you post listings to any city from within your Craigslist account, you can also use your Craigslist account to keep track of all your forum discussions from one central location. Okay, so you can use your specific account to check out all the different discussions for one account as opposed to having to have a lot of different accounts depending on what city you're looking in. So that's pretty cool.
