Hey, welcome to craigslist cash. In this tutorial we're going to walk through Craigslist, we're going to go over some different methods to generating cash from sales on Craigslist. We're also going to talk about how to buy professionally on Craigslist. We're gonna give you some quick tips and we're gonna talk about how to avoid scams. Got a lot going on in this training. So let's go ahead and get started.
I want to go ahead and start off with some Craigslist statistics. See here that the total number of local Craigslist sites is 700. Okay, so there's 700 sites and various cities and areas all around the world. Okay, so the number of countries that actually have a local Craigslist site are 70. There's 70 countries with 700 sites, okay. The number of day Craigslist daily queries worldwide, is 50 million.
Okay, so lots of traffic on Craigslist, and then the number of new classified ads that are published on Craigslist every month or 40 million And it's got 40 million new ads on Craigslist essentially every month. Okay, so lots, lots and lots of ads, lots and lots of traffic, lots of people using Craigslist. So just a couple of the kinds of ads you may see on Craigslist. Since Craigslist is basically an online classifieds. You'll see use car ads 9.2 million to see a lot of job postings as well. A buddy here of mine in Los Angeles is an actor, and he finds a lot of jobs on Craigslist, okay.
He's kind of just now getting started out. And you know, when you don't have a lot of representation from an agency yet, Craigslist is a way that a lot of people in the industry, get jobs and are continue to pay the bills while they're pursuing their craft. You see that there's our 20 billion page views every month on Craigslist. It's a 20 billion Okay, that's a big number for any website. And then the number of Americans who use Craigslist each year 50 million. So, a good portion of Americans are using Craigslist.
That'd be just a good amount of traffic for you to step in front of the percent of Craigslist owned by eBay is 25%. Okay, so lots of crossover. A lot of products from eBay are being sold on Craigslist. And in the next few videos, we're gonna talk about some quick tips to using Craigslist will also talk about how to avoid some of the scams.
