Greetings, I'm Professor Kay and in this short video presentation, we're going to see how we go about changing the date and time format for server 2016. And though this video is being produced on a server 2016 installation, the procedures you're about to see will also work on Windows 10 and server 2019. To begin this quick overview, let's just click on the start button. From the tile menu, click on control panel. Once you're up inside of the control panel, you can go to the language option. And from here, over in the left menu, you can click on the option to change date, time or number format.
Go ahead and click on that. And from here, you can change the way the information for your date and your time is presented to you. If you don't like the short date, you can pull this down you can choose different options to have that presented to you saying what's the long day short time you don't like that. Hold on a minute. menu and select another option. You can also change the first day of the week if that's what you want to do.
Now, you can also go down here to the bottom, you can click on additional settings. From here, you can change the way your numbers are presented to you. You can also change your currency. If you don't like that currency, you can pull this down and you can change the symbol. You can also change the time. You can also change your time by going in here and seeing how the time is actually going to be presented to you.
Go ahead close this out. Back on the main page, you also have the option to change your location. For instance, if you're working in some other foreign countries such as Vietnam or you're ugly, you might want to have that timezone configured for your date and time. Also, underneath that administrative tab, you can copy the settings and these settings can be used for all users, when they come to the welcome screen and the system accounts and new user accounts when they're created. So in this short video presentation, you got to see how you can go inside of your server 2016 or your windows 10 or your server 2019 machine and change the format for your date, time and numbers.
