Hello and welcome to learning and utilizing outlook 2016 apps and features. My name is Vicki BusyBox. And I'll be walking you through each step of the processes outlined in the lectures. I have over 20 years of software training experience within the law firm environment. And I also have a Microsoft masters certification in office 2013. The how to modules in this course will cover everything you need to know to utilize outlook apps.
We'll start with email basics, then we'll go into email organization, email signatures, and you're out of office. After that, we'll move on to the calendar, contacts, tasks, and we'll end on notes. So by the end of this course, you'll be able to take this knowledge and apply it to your daily responsibilities. You'll be able to communicate with others via email and stay on track with email organization, calendar appointments and meetings, your task lists and notes. The things you learn in this course will help you stay on track with your busy life to assist you along the way. Developed step by step instructions for each of the features taught, and to ensure you understand what we're going over.
I've also included quizzes throughout. If you have any questions while taking this course or after, please feel free to contact me, and I hope you enjoy this course. Also, as a side note, one thing to keep in mind before we begin, Microsoft programs all follow the same blueprint. So if you've mastered or even have a basic understanding of one program within Microsoft Office, you'll easily learn the others. For instance, if you know word, the same basic concepts apply to Excel, PowerPoint and outlook. So you've already got the base commands mastered.
You say print and open files the same way in all the programs and the tabs and ribbons follow the same suit in all programs as well. So let's go ahead and move on to the first section and lecture.
