Hello, Karen class here again for another mental mastery moment. By today I'm going to be talking to you about cultivating a right attitude, even when you're going through out how I remember reading the book, awaken the giant within back in the 90s. Tony Robbins wrote it and it had this great exercise. If you want to become aware of how negative your mindset is, and if you're negative, how negative Your mind is, or if you do not believe you have a negative mindset for one week, put on an elastic band on your wrist. And every time you have a negative thought or complain about anything, you're to snap elastic band right for that. So I decided to do this and within One day, my wrist was so red.
I could not believe how negative my mindset was. And I thought little exercise inspired me to do whatever it took to change my mindset so that I could transform my life. So let me ask, how often do you complain about life once a day, five times a day. I'm only sharing these videos so that you can expand your awareness about your own thoughts and your own subconscious programming that you may not even realize is there. So there's no judgment here. This is for you to think, hmm, yes, I want to have a better life.
I want to be a better person. And in order to do that, I first need to get real and see if I do have a negative mindset. And this level of honesty is what brings about a right attitude. I know life can be really challenging, especially if you have lost your job or you're in the midst of a divorce or you don't have enough money in your bank account to pay your bills. The most difficult part of life is when we cannot understand why bad things are happening the way they are. We can think why did this happen to me, I'm a good person, I don't deserve this.
The thing is, on some level, whatever you're going through, there's a bigger part of you that knows that you have the strength to make it through. So just breathe this in what I'm about to say. So remember, if you're manifesting the good, you're also manifesting the perceived bad, right? This is all powerful that we know how powerful we are. Now in Buddhist philosophy, they identify eight signposts to freedom. So once again, Post his right attitude or thought, which means to become consciously aware of the thoughts and that you're having and to start thinking from that highest point of view.
So when you complain, you've been feeding your mind garbage, right? So what goes in, garbage in garbage in garbage out, right? So your attitude is important and having a right attitude means releasing that garbage in our mind. So your mind will create resistance to thinking harder thoughts or good thoughts about your experience, because it's been programmed to disapprove of yourself and others. So our brain is actually wired for negativity. And this is a challenge that we have, right?
So when you complain, or you have a negative attitude about your life, you're really complaining about what you have created because after all, you're the creator of your reality right? manifesting. The first thing that and then when we're complaining about it is because it's our inability to cope with it. It's very difficult for us to even rationalize why we're creating the life we're creating, right? So the more you complain, the more you create what it is you do not want. So it's really good to do what you can to shift your mindset.
Now, many people walk the same path every day doing habitual things, but expecting their lives to change. Now, for change to occur in your outer world, you must you must first think and feel the change in your inner world, your inner world being mental, emotional and spiritual, right. So whenever you focus your thoughts on is what you're what you're going to experience, whether you like it or not. So when you recognize that it's the solution conscious mind that dictating your experience, you realize how important it is to understand and restructure that part of you that controlling thoughts that are manifesting that world you see. So, when I see what is, you know, when I talk about the subconscious mind, a lot of people don't they do not understand what that means because we cannot see it and taste it or touch it right. A subconscious mind as the best analogy is the image of the iceberg, right so you can see an iceberg that is above the water that the tip of the iceberg right now below that waterline.
That iceberg continues and it can go on for miles. So we can only see the tip of the iceberg but however, underneath what's invisible to us, is the fullness of the iceberg, and it's Vast right? So we can now see that our compare our conscious mind to the tip of the iceberg which is the smallest part. Right? The part that that we can see in our conscious mind is what we're aware of in our life. The subconscious mind is what we're not aware of what we don't know we don't know, right?
And why we do the things that we do. Now, we all have gifts and talents in this world. My gift is helping people transform the subconscious mind. I've taken hundreds of people over the years to explore their subconscious mind and transform their life in moments. Yes, we go hunting dragons. Right now happiness lives inside of you.
And you can choose to connect to your higher self, even if your bills are not being paid, or when you're not getting what you want. complaining about robs you of your happiness. Now. If you think back to problems and challenges you had last year or two years ago, and maybe you thought it was the end of the world, now look where you are today, right? You made it through. Maybe there's another problem or the challenge.
However, you move through step by step by step, there is nothing that limits or keeps you in a state of doubt, except your thoughts. Your mental power is highly creative. You're either operating from that fear based mind or that divine mind within you. So thoughts can either destroy or uplift you. So everything that you taste and touch and feel and smell was first created in your mind through thought. Your thoughts are often expressed through your the words you speak right and if you believe what you stays true than the energy behind your words will cause you to act.
Now, much of the time, we're unaware that the thoughts we have are actually images. So if I told you not to think about red Lamborghinis, this is my inner race car. But in a racecar driver speaking, what would happen? Your mind would immediately picture a red Lamborghini. So these pictures run through the mind and the speed of light. And it's only when we become consciously aware of our mental realm that we discover the inner movies that we create.
So saying this, your subconscious mind thinks in images. This is why I'm often shared my clients, stop watching the news, stop watching, you know, anything that is going to create really negative images in their mind or to start reading the newspaper. paper, I haven't read the newspaper or watch the news in over 30 years and yet, I'm pretty aware of what's going on in the world right. Now here is another example of images that we create in our mind. Have you ever wondered as an adult, while you do not like certain foods, and some of those things you've actually never even tried before? And then say 20 years later, you try it and you love it.
And you wonder why you didn't like it growing up. So let's say it's carrots, we're just going to use carrots for simplicity sake. The first time you see a carrot, you maybe were two or three years old, and you observe an uncle or another child eating carrots, and you as you're observing them, they create this really this look of disgust on their face and they spit out the carrot right? And, and the words they express are really negative, right? That image immediately enters into your subconscious mind. And because it was a native image, anytime you see Kerris, this image will immediately remind you to not eat carrots even though you've never had one.
So our subconscious mind is constantly storing images in our brain and following them as either not safe or safe, not safe, safe. Unfortunately, for many people, the not safe filing cabinet in our brain becomes bigger than the safe filing cabinet. So then we live out our lives, not liking this and not like not not liking this and complaining and not allowing ourselves to see the true the real truth or reality that is actually saved. Right? So it's also good practice to have a Write attitude about others, such as even though you may be outwardly nice to people. What thoughts do you have about them when their backs are turned?
Remember, we're all energetically connected. If people are attuned, they can read energy. They can also read energy vibrations and the truth behind your words. Now how you feel about someone doesn't have to be expressed verbally for a person to know how you feel about them. And how you truly think about people will eventually make itself known and you will experience the effects of that thinking. So this is where you want to get really clear.
Are you sending out negative thoughts or judgmental thoughts about a person or are you sending them compassionate thoughts and loving thoughts? Right? People do not want to be around those who complain about life. They want to be around people who love life or appreciate life or who can see the gifts in their moments, right. So again, negative thoughts about the self or others such as I don't deserve to be loved or he's a loser, or theory destructive. Now, did you know that anytime you call someone a loser, you're actually creating more losers to show up in your life?
Right? So it's really important to really become aware of the words we express the thoughts we think about others and especially how you see yourself. So choose today to have an optimistic view about your life to have an attitude of knowing that things are gonna turn around to believe that this present moment is a blessing in disguise even though you can't see it right now, to see that this is just a moment within a trip. In moments of your life, and that you are just preparing yourself for the next stage of your evolution. Oh again if you're at a breaking point, please come and see me.
