Now that I've showed you how you can use social media cheat sheet with images, let me quickly show you how you can use it with graphics. So right here we have one of our products, which is called Belgrade, Instagram graphics. If you want, you can find it inside of our shop. And now I'll show you how you can adapt this Instagram size. So this square size to the story size. So let's go ahead open up the Instagram folder.
Locate the Instagram post, double click to open it up. Go back, double click to open Instagram story. We're going to delete this image by clicking Delete on our keyboard. Just make sure that the layer of the image is selected. So you don't accidentally delete this or this. You have to click on this and then delete it.
Go to the Belgrade Eastern graphics. Grab this one for example. Drag and drop it inside using the move tool. So once again, if you are using our products, simply click and drag Drop it inside again using the move tool. I'm going to delete this one, select the folder, then hold CTRL and click right here inside this square and use the Move tool, this middle one, this middle one to positioned in the middle, and then Ctrl D to deselect and Ctrl S to save it back to the social media cheat sheet. As you can see, it appeared right here.
Now all of these instructions are if you're using our product, but they will work basically with any product that you find online. Or if you are creating your own graphic, you can use some of these techniques to implement them inside of your workflow. Now we're going to use the same for the story. Simply drag and drop control click right here. Press V for the move tool or click right here. This middle one, this middle one to position it smack bang in the middle control the To deselect, and there we go.
Now we're going to extend this background so it goes all the way up and down. So click on the big inside of our graphic, as explained, by using the move tool, click on one of these grab handles, and then simply drag all the way down, press OK. And that's it. You can leave it like this, or you can go inside of the image, click on the image BG, click right here and then hold Shift Alt, and by using the move tool, once again, extended all the way up until you're happy for example right here, press this checkmark. Simply hide the original image and drag and drop the new image inside. Press Enter. Right click Create Clipping Mask so it will clip to the original background layer.
Click again in one of these corners so you can move it around. You can position it like So, so Shift Alt and left click in one of the corners, you can increase it size by however you want. For example right here again, use the arrow keys on your keyboard. And you can also do alt and scroll wheel on your mouse, or as I explained in a previous video, you can use this magnifier tool and shift in one of the corners or left click so you can increase the size in this direction, and then click and position it like so. So we can place it right next to our text. Click right here.
And then there we go. Ctrl S to save it back. And now as you can see, we have this exact same graphic, but in for a different file format. You can also extend these lines up and down if you want to. You can go back and do exactly the same like We did with the Instagram posts. So come back here, open up the image hide original image, drag and drop to new image plus center.
Right click Create Clipping Mask, so it will clip to the image background. Position it however you want Shift Alt, left click so you can increase its size. And position this guy right here in the middle. So it can be exactly the same as like we did for the story Ctrl S so you can save it back. And now as you can see, it's exactly the same. Now it works with every single social media size that you see right here.
So you can use this technique not only for images, but for graphics as well. You can also move the text so for example, if you want, in some cases, your text to be on the right you can do it so well inside of the smart Subject without disturbing any of the social media sizes and any of the templates that you see right here. So when you want to save them for posting, simply go back here to the File, Save as choose that folder that we already used. Click right here. Now it says Instagram image one you can do it like so. Or you can type it feed for example presenter.
Okay, come back right here. File Save as choose that folder. jpg. And you can say, I G storage story. For example, press Enter, Enter once again. And there you go.
That's how you're editing images as well as graphics inside of our social media cheat sheet before posting them to the social media sites.
